Something that many of us are interested in doing regularly, particularly if you're trying to put on a lot of muscle is to get enough protein on a daily basis. There has been a lot of speculation as to the amount of protein that we should be taking in regularly, and many of us may try to get hundreds of grams every day.
I'll be the first to tell you that it is really unnecessary for you to get this much protein, and there may actually be some reasons why it is bad for you to do so. That doesn't mean, however, that I don't enjoy having a protein shake from time to time and I have done a lot of research in order to locate the best 3 protein shakes that are available.
Shake Protein
Perhaps my favorite protein shake is the ultimate meal. This is a vegan shake that is not really considered to be a protein shake, but it does contain absolutely everything that the body needs in order to build muscle. Does it contain protein? Yes, it absolutely does but it doesn't come from the same sources that you would find in a typical protein shake.
Another thing that it contains is enzymes, and it is important for you to understand that the body needs these enzymes in order to grow muscles. As a matter of fact, your body cannot use protein without breaking it down into enzymes first.
Another of my best protein shakes is a green smoothie. You might be surprised to learn that green, leafy vegetables often contain a massive amount of protein and there are times whenever you can actually get more protein from eating vegetables than if you were to eat a piece of chicken. The best part about it is, the protein that is found in vegetables is living food and it is easily assimilated by the body. Whenever you give your body the opportunity to grow in such a way, you would be surprised with the changes that you're going to see and you will see them quickly.
If you just want a regular protein shake, one that you can make up very quickly, I would suggest that you go with the best shake that you can possibly find. One that we use is called Whey to go, a whey protein shake that only uses top quality ingredients. If you're unable to find this in your local area, we would suggest that you do additional research in order to find one that gives you all of the protein that you need without giving you any additional chemicals that you don't.
You might find that you don't actually need as much protein as you are typically told in order to get in shape. Whenever you just need something to get you through the day, however, a quick protein shake can be beneficial. Just make sure that the one you are drinking is actually good for you.
